Nest was born in 2021 from a shared dream between two friends — Ritwik and Tathagata — with a passion to create spaces that feel meaningful, artistic, and emotionally connected to people’s lives. What began through sketches, ideas, conversations, and creative exploration slowly evolved into a design studio built on friendship, vision, and purpose. Both founders studied Interior Design at Bhawanipur Design Academy, where their creative journey truly began. Their design philosophy was deeply influenced by Bengal’s artistic culture, Indian heritage, traditional craftsmanship, natural textures, and the harmony of nature with modern living.
At Nest, every project reflects a balance between contemporary aesthetics and cultural depth — blending modern functionality with warmth, simplicity, materials, light, greenery, and timeless design elements inspired by Indian roots. In 2024, Nest faced an irreplaceable loss with the passing of Tathagata. Though he is no longer physically present, his creativity, passion, and vision continue to remain a part of Nest’s soul and identity. His presence still lives through every space and every story created by the studio. Today, Ritwik continues to lead Nest with a long-term creative vision — crafting timeless interiors that combine art, emotion, nature, Bengal culture, and Indian heritage into spaces that feel authentic, calm, and alive. Nest is more than an interior studio; it is a journey of memories, creativity, culture, and meaningful design.

We believe in materials that age gracefully and designs that reflect the true soul of the inhabitant.
Every millimeter matters. From the grain of the wood to the angle of the light, we obsess over details.
We don't follow trends. We create timeless environments that remain relevant for generations.
